1-Hour Air Boat Ride and Nature Walk with a Naturalist in Everglades National Park
Tour Highlights:
- Come with us on a one-hour air boat way out in the real Everglades! On this smaller air boat trip, we stop at one or two Native tree island villages where they used to live; and that you can only get to by boat and on this tour. Become immersed in their special customs and the authentic beauty of their remote way of life.
- On this trip, we typically see larger alligators, baby alligators, birds and other wildlife. This sometimes includes the critically endangered Everglades snail kite! On this exhilarating trip, you’ll find yourself mesmerized by the reflection of the white clouds on the water, way out, far from land in the middle of the “River of Grass.”
- You will also go on a 1.5 hour nature walk led by our master naturalist in the actual National Park. This is one of the most iconic National Parks in the United States, and we are one of just a few companies permitted to lead interpretive walking tours there. Visiting here is a bucket list for many!
- On this walk, we know where all the wildlife is, and we get to see a lot of it up close! And where wildlife should be experienced, in the wild! Please know that we never go to places with animals in cages and pens. We typically see baby alligators, large alligators, other wildlife and a wide variety of bird species! Guests learn about the natural flora and fauna, and better understand the critical role of water flow and quality in shaping the historic Everglades, and learn about recent conservation efforts.
- Enjoy a 25 minute narrated scenic drive provided by the master naturalist. There is also 30-45 minutes to explore on one’s own too, including a stop in at the Visitors Center.

Just One Recent Review:
Wild Lime provided a first rate tour experience. They were sincerely interested in their customers, and the backgrounds and experiences of both made available a wealth of information about the Everglades, the surrounding area, and the history. The nature walk was the best nature tour we have ever taken! A variety of alligators, birds, fish, and turtles were observed, and they had interesting information on all of the wildlife. The air boat tour was exceptional as well, and I would strongly recommend this experience.
