Mini Everglades Adventure Great full day tour in late January, included pickup from hotel, airboat ride, wildlife spotting along the drive, lunch at a colorful local eatery, boat ride in open waters, and a short dry hike to a cypress dome. Guide and biologist Addy was bubbly, friendly and knowledgeable of the history, ecology, and biology of the area. Along the way we spotted gators, crocs, manatees, a dolphin, storks, various herons and egrets, osprey, kingfisher, pelicans, terns, anhingas, cormorants, and beautiful pink spoonbills. Fun & informative The tour was a good combination of walking and time on an airboat ride. Mitch is a friendly, engaging guide and made the tour more fun. What an Adventure! What an amazing adventure! Enoch was incredible from start to finish. We had the best time learning about the different habitats and all of the history.
We saw some gators, a manatee, and so much more sea life, trees and plants.
The two boat tours were great. One was The Ten Thousand Islands and the second The Everglades Airboat.
The whole trip was beautiful in fact sensational.
I would highly recommend and would do it again as we learned so much.
Lunch was great also.
If you want to know and see more in the Everglades this is the trip for you!
