A Must Do Everglades Trip We had an amayzing day with Lindsey and would highly recommend this tour. They pick you up at your hotel which is a very nice option when traveling in unfamiliar territory. We saw so many different birds and animals and really enjoyed every aspect of the day from the airboat ride through the grasslands to the ride through the ten thousand islands out to the gulf. In addition to Lindsey, we had great Captains on both boats and everyone shared so much information. Our goal was to see a few gators and we lost count! The dolphins were amazing and so many varieties of birds. A long day but enjoyed every minute. Thank you Lindsey and Wild Lime Adventures. read more

Incredible Day! Elijah showed up at our hotel completely ready for the day. He greeted us with a smile and a confident welcome. We had been scheduled to go on a boat ride, but were given the opportunity to change to a kayak tour and we are so glad we did! After being treated to a local Cuban coffee, we drove out to the Everglades National Park with incredible descriptions and historical perspective provided by Elijah. There were four of us on the tour; my husband and myself, and a father and his son traveling together. Although we were far different in age, Elijah was able to provide an entire day of fantastic insights into the wildlife, flora, and park history. He shared fascinating vignettes about the Everglades NP early days and Ernest Coe and the other visionaries who worked so hard to preserve the unique tropical environment. During our two hour kayak tour of Buttonwood Canal we saw crocodiles, alligators and two manatees plus over 20 varieties of bird life. Elijah shared his expert level information regarding all of them in Layman's terms that was easy to understand. Getting into and out of the kayaks was easy with the help of dock men and steady advice of Elijah. The van we traveled around the park in, was modern and comfortable and the provided lunch, snacks, and ice-cold water were wonderful. We enjoyed “Cubano” sandwiches as we searched for manatees on the shore of the small town of Flamingo. The three hikes were leisurely and informative. We felt enriched and grateful, by both the park and Elijah’s descriptions. Although happily exhausted when Elijah dropped us off at our hotel, we had one of the best experiences in a National Park we have ever had! Thank you Lime Adventures for having such a professional guide and program! Elijah is a true Educator and you are lucky to have him! WE were so lucky to spend the day with such an incredible naturalist! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who not only wants to have a fun day, but also wants to learn about the Everglades National Park! read more

Alligators, Birds, Dolphins, Nature.... Wow! We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 hour adventure tour with Wild Lime Adventures. We were picked up at our hotel about 7:20 am, by Lindsay in a passenger van, the ride was about an hour to the Miccosukee General Store meet up point, where Enoch started the tour. Enoch chauferred the group in a big airconditioned 14 passenger van. We were given refillable Wild Lime Adventure water bottles, to fill from the fresh water cooler in the back of the van water, and snacks to enjoy. We stopped at about 9 different locations, rode on an airboat through the Everglades, they loaned us ear coverings to help with the loud air boat ride, the captain talked about the area, pointed out and stopped at the many alligators, plants, and birds we came across, Enoch lead a walk through a small trail at the Miccosukee Island, then we stopped at the Big Cypress Oasis Visitor Center, where we saw birds and many many alligators swimming and sunning in the water. Lunch was included with the tour at a local restaurant, we went on a boat ride where the captain spoke about the area and talked and pointed out the many birds we came across, the mangrove trees, the little islands that were formed by hurricanes, we saw dolphins that swam with the boat, some jumped out of the water. We walked another easy trail led by Enoch, he talked about the area, the ecosystem, the animals, trees, birds, etc., we came across a Cottonmouth snake, a few of us saw the female alligator that had new hatchlings, resting with her head out of the water. Towards the last part of the trip, a bird flew into the van's passenger side mirror. Due to safety concerns, the company decided to set up Uber for the passengers that they needed to drop off at their respective hotels. We very much enjoyed the all day adventure. We were back to our hotel about 5:45 pm. Thank you Enoch and Wild Lime Adventures, we had a fun time!! read more

We Didn't Want the Day to End A full day loaded with fascinating sights and fun. Our guide, Abigail, was a wealth of information about both the human and natural history of the region. We learned SO MUCH more about the area than we could have picked up on our own, it's hard to overstate how much we would have missed without her input. We covered multiple unique ecosystems on both foot and two very different boat tours, saw tons of wildlife, but it never felt rushed. A day not to be forgotten, we didn't want it to end. Very highly recommended. read more

Magical day This trip was booked at the last minute to celebrate our daughter's birthday and everyone at Wild Lime did their best to make it a special day for her and our 9 year old son, including sending a birthday tiara for her to wear. Lindsay is a fantastic guide - friendly, energetic and knowledgable, and due to her eagle eye we were lucky enough to see a host of wonders including Roseate Spoonbills, manatees and alligators gallore. And if that wasn't enough we had a dolphin diving behind our boat. The logistics and arrangments were

Excellent full day at the Everglades with Wild Lime Adventures Visiting from France we are a family of 4. We looked at several business that offer a 1-day Everglades experience and decided on Wild Lime Adventures. The overall experience was excellent, and we highly recommend them.
In terms of services, they were top notch: pick up/drop off was on time; air-conditioning; snacks and water was readily available; a lunch at a local restaurant with "local colour" ;)
Elijah was our guide and we cannot recommend him enough. Thoughtful and passionate, Elijah was extremely knowledgable on the Everglades in terms of its ecology and history. Some observations: he gave detailed and comprehensive information on the Miccosukee, as well as the Seminoles; he pulled the van around so that we all could see the American crocodile my son spotted off the side of the road; he collected rubbish we encountered in the boat / hike; and he shared personal experiences of changes to the places we visited. We we were fortunate to see the wild life, i.e., alligators, dolphins, woodstorks (!!!), as well as to have Elijah contextualise and share his perspective on the Everglades.read more -
Excellent way to experience the Everglades Our group really enjoyed the Nature Walk to start our experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made sure we had time to enjoy the experience! The transition to the AirBoat portion of the tour was seamless and really gave us the Everglades feel - going through the glades, seeing the gators, etc. We would definitely recommend this tour. read more

Exceptional day at the Everglades What a fantastic day! Efficient but not rushed. Enoch is a superb driver and knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. As two groups were running parallel we also had Elijah guiding, and he and Enoch worked so well together. Wonderful airboat trip, lots of alligators in all locations, great boat trip to the islands and beyond, and a fabulous nature walk. These guys really know their stuff, and we learnt so much about the ecosystem of the Everglades. Really good lunch, great snacks and drinks for afternoon tea.
