Fun and informative tour We are really glad that we took this tour. Our guide Armando was a wealth of knowledge about the native plants and how they interact with the environment and even their medicinal uses. He also has lots of interesting information about the birds, alligators and insects that we saw. You can tell that he really cares about the Everglades. The airboat ride was a great way to see the birds and alligators in their natural environment. Marcus was a safe and courteous operator. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks again from the Ryan family ! - Eric R - 3/30/2025

A memorable day in the Everglades We had a great day with our guide Armando and our nice group. We learned a lot about flora, fauna, the natives and environmental challenges. During the boat trip, we had the opportunity to see some dolphins interacting with our boat. The nature walk was outstanding. Unfortunately, our group was merged with another one for this activity, which limited observing a lot of wildlife. However, it was an extraordinary day with an energetic and knowledgeable guide. - Janine B - 3/30/2025

First time in Florida Everglades! Wild Lime Adventures Guide, Enoch, met us on time around 8:30am (we opted to meet the tour instead of being picked up by the free shuttle). We got on the Shuttle bus with another family and started our adventure with a fan boat ride. Headphones provided as the fan boat is a little noisy, but not that bad. Went on a waterway and saw gators close up and many different types of birds. Really fun fan boat driver who gave info about the waterway and the gators and birds. Kept us laughing! Visited the Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Center and the Big Cypress National Preserve. The National Preserve has a very old cypress tree and some really cool air plants. Lunch at a fantastic little restaurant with friendly staff. Best mahi mahi sandwich I’ve ever had. Had a great boat ride on Ten Thousand Island our boat driver was very informative about the mangrove trees which make up the Ten Thousand Island. The amazing part was seeing dolphins jumping and following our boat. Just awesome. The Rookery was very cool too. Tons of different birds nesting in mangroves trees. Ask about Florida snow lol. A really enjoyable tour, thank you Enoch! - Karfis - 3/30/2025

Highly recommended! Guide Lindsay is awesome! Perfect tour for kids! My kids (8yo and 13yo) and I did Wild Lime's half-day Everglades toward, and I am so glad that we did! I'll preface this by saying that I was hesitant at first to book this. I didn't know if the kids would find it interesting. It was super interesting and entertaining because our guide, Lindsay, made the day that way. First, because of Wild Lime's awesome perk of picking you up at your hotel, you end up with a lot of car time. Lindsay made it interesting since she's from South Florida, by telling us a lot about the area, outside the Everglades. Once we got close to the park, she "nerded out" with all of the cool nature knowledge she has about the park, its history, the animals, the birds, the insects - everything. We also learned all about Wild Lime and it sounds like exactly the type of tour company you would want to use because they are focused and they are able to keep their guides long-term. No doubt, it helped that we got to see a ton of gators, one of them snacking on a catfish(!). The weather was beautiful too. My only advice is to bring some food if you're bringing kids. Wild Lime provides water and snacks, but not necessarily a ton of calories for a long day outside. I'd highly recommend you do this tour, especially if you have kids from 6-15 as they will enjoy it!!! - jwl1981 - 3/29/2025

An amazing day with Abigail from our pick up to drop off! Phenomenal day! The four of us agreed that our half day tour was wonderful. Our guide was Abigail, and she was so knowledgeable and passionate about the Everglades that she made the entire 5+ hours so enjoyable. We learned much about the ecology and history of this amazing ecosystem. All went smoothly from the pickup to our drop off. A truly pleasurable day!
We wish Abigail well as she travels to Alaska to guide whale watching. We are sure she will be just as excellent a guide there!

Half day tour Ryan did a great job running the tour. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He knew the names of the plants, birds, fish, animals, and the history of not only Florida but also the area as well as the Native American history. This was a really informative and fun experience! Highly recommend! - arfw2016 - 3/29/2025

Bucket List Adventure Ryan was a knowledgeable guide who was clearly passionate about the history of the Miccosukee Tribe in South Florida. His detail about the struggles of the wildlife to thrive at the end of the dry season was terrific.
Until the day of the tour, I did not know that it would be a bucket list adventure - the airboat ride in the River of Grass - The Everglades - S1075KEjoell - 3/29/2025read moreread less - - Elizabeth A
Good everglades experience This tour was enjoyed by all! We had a fun walk through a paved section of everglades national park. Our guide pointed out numerous birds. We passed many alligators within a few feet as they napped in the sun. This is maybe not the best place for small dogs! Then we took a boat ride through the river of grass to a nature center with baby alligators and turtles and then to a tribal center - learning something about how native American tribes survived in the depths of the everglades. - Elizabeth A - 3/29/2025
