See the real Florida! Great adventure. Up close and personal with Dolphins, gators, birds and more. A true Florida experience away from asphalt & concrete. Our guide Ryan was very personable, enthusiastic & knowledgeable. Even lunch was an amazing experience! Highly recommended. - DayTrip54107752303 - 2/16/2025

Incredibly informative, fun day! We had the BEST day touring the Everglades. I had no idea what diverse terrain it had not to mention all of the bird and animal life we saw! Abigail was an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide who answered all questions, engaged with each of us and kept us feeling safe and taken care of all day.
I highly recommend this tour. There is some walking involved at times and even a small hike on a trail, so wear comfy shoes and bring your adventurous spirit! - Penny T - 2/16/2025read moreread less - - Kelly G

Great intro to the Everglades This tour isn't exhaustive you see a small amount of the Everglades (which is huge and would take months to explore all of), but is a nice introduction to the Everglades and the local flora and fauna.
Our guide, Elijah, was super knowledgeable and was great at spotting birds and gators. He went above and beyond and gave us a number of great recommendations for other things to do in the area.
Some highlights included:
-holding a baby gator
-seeing purple gallinele
-watching an anhinga swim
-seeing a bunch of wood storks - speechisamouth - 2/13/2025read moreread less - - Adam F
Great tour! Very laid back and friendly tour guide and very appropriate pacing made this pretty big tour feel very manageable. Probably one of the top five tours I've ever taken - the airboat blew my mind (and we saw baby crocodiles), the "cruise" blew my mind (dolphins chased us in the boat and kept jumping out of the water for us), and I saw probably 60 alligators. Amazing stuff. - Adam F - 2/12/2025

Armando: Sage of the Everglades I'm not local. I'm an artist from Philadelphia visiting the Everglades as research for a play. I hitched a lot on this trip. I wanted a full-experience of the natural environment, but I also wanted a thorough, personal understanding of the Indigenous and Black history of these lands. This is a tall-order, so I was prepared to have ungranted wishes. I was not prepared to receive exactly what I dreamed of and more. Not only is Armando extremely knowledgeable, confident, and kind, his passion and activism for environmental conservation was a revelation. Every action and every word was filtered through this lens. Armando struck a delicate balance of honesty and humor, disarming us with charm. I was impressed by his encyclopedic knowledge of wildlife and plants, but even more so by his nimbleness and attention to detail as he led our group through several planned (and unplanned) activities. He made this trip well worth its price. When I return to the Everglades, I will be sure to book with him again and again! - Angela B - 2/12/2025

I LOVED EVERY SECOND OF THIS TOUR! THIS was amazing experience! I highly recommend to book this tour. Our guide was Eli with huge knowledge about Everglades! We loved him and he made this tour so much fun! We saw alligators walking across a road and swimming around with babies! We saw many types of birds, fish and turtles. I have learned so much about plants I have never seen before and the boat ride was unforgettable too! If you are not sure about booking, I am telling you, book it and you are gonna love it! - Barbara K - 2/11/2025

Great Day Trip! Princess and I were picked up in Everglades City by our guide Abigail from Wild Lime and headed out for our wet walk. Princess was certain she was going to be eaten by a gator or bitten by a snake, but Abby was able to convince her there was nothing to worry about. The water was surprisingly clear and mid thigh at the deepest. It wasn't muddy and we felt safe the whole time thanks to Abby. We learned about birds and plants that we saw along the way. It was a great time and I was surprised when Princess told me it was her favorite part of the day, since she was real nervous about walking through the swamp.
After the wet walk we stopped at several areas looking for a Crocodile, Alligators, and Manatees, where we also saw a lot of fish and a huge soft shell turtle that must have been 3 foot around. On the way to our first boat ride we toured Ted Smallwood's Trading Post. Very interesting and glad we went through it. Lunch was provided at Joanies Blue Crab Cafe and was good enough that Princess and I went back later.
We also went for two boat rides. The first was out in the ten thousand islands. There were tons of different birds including white pelicans and had a pod of dolphins playing in our wake. The second was on a fan boat out in the river of Grasses, where we stopped on an island that members of the Tiger Tail family lived on until somewhat recently. Neither Princess nor I can imagine how people lived out there. Princess wouldn't make it and sadly, i probably wouldn't either. Here we were introduced to a huge mama gator. The air boat ride was fun and smooth like riding in a Cadillac.
Abby was amazing! She loves what she does and it shows. She was very engaging and knowledgeable. It is a bit pricey, but if you can afford it, do yourself a favor and go. This was one of the best days Princess and I have had together. - HTWelker - 2/11/2025read moreread less
